Corsair H100i Question Regarding CPU 3-pin Connector.

Hello.

I've got a bit of a problem here with my Corsair H100i. I now own a Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z and there's absolutely no 3-pin fan headers on this Motherboard, only 4-pin. The Corsair has a 3-pin CPU connector, so, will it connect to a 4-pin fan header without issues?

u can connect according to me, as my mother board has 4pin connector (gigaabyte g41m-combo) where as stock fan of my c2q q8300 has 3pin connector, so i guess in ur case it'll work without any issues

yeah the 3 pin will work the extra pin is just for pulse width modulation (pwm) so the motherboard can monitor and also change fan speeds,
