If your Windforce is getting too hot then you have other problems. I run mine 24/7, and after a Heaven benchmark at max settings the temps reach about 62-65C. Make sure you have plenty of airflow and room. The Windforce does NOT dissipate heat out the back of the case like most cards should (IMO), it kind of just throws it everywhere.

Or you're trying to do SLI, in which case the Windforce 670 does terrible.
