APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: next day or so

BUDGET RANGE: 500-800 before rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: I game and surf the net only. Games I play are CoD:MW2 and just bought Bad Company 2, planning on getting more shooter games and Diablo 3 when it comes out. Also play warcraft but a shoebox can run that if you attach a moniter.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Mouse, Keyboard, Moniter, Graphics card ( I am just going to reuse my 9600gt for the time being untill I can save more money, plan on getting a high end ATI card when I'm able too. I have windows 7 64bit.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg.com only please

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA I'm in Salem, OR

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe after all is said and done, that's why I got the processor because I've heard it's pretty easy to get an OC on it

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Not interested at this time but if i ever get the extra money would consider it but not right now

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200 24" widescreen

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: (e.g.: Need to have a window and lots of bling, I would like a quiet PC)

Here's the list of what I have picked out. Please give any feedback or suggestions as I am not the most knowledgable when it comes to making sure parts all compatable with each other or if there is something that would be a greater performance boost. I have been researching these for the last few days though from differant sites here and there to make sure it should all work out okay. I would like to run my graphics card in x16 mode with a single card. Is that possible or only for 2 cards? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hard Drive: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

MOBO & PSU Combo: You can spend a few dollars more and pick up this combo... http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.354104 , which gets you a little better PSU and modular.

Your MOBO will run two cards at 16x in Crossfire mode.

If you plan on OCing, I would highly recommend picking up a HSF at the start of your build like the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus

Okay so if I take your suggestions I should be better off. The RAM I selected will be able to run at it's full potential on the motherboard too correct? Also, everything should fit properly in the case I selected? Looking for answers here as my wife has given me the final okay to go ahead and purchase all this :) so I'm super excited to get it going.

HHD - Yes
Combo - Performance wise = No, Cable Management = Yes, which equals better cooling

How come combo/perfmance wise = no

What about it is wrong? Or am I just missunderstanding?

I'm referring to MOBO/PSU combo, which going to the 650HX from the 650TX will have no direct impact on the performance of the PC. They both will perform equally, as well. You get the benefit of a modular PSU for a little more money which benefits cooling.
