Need help with new build

Newbie with new build needs help.

Memtest-86 3.6 crashes right off. 3.4 runs fine but crashes on probe. GPU NOS also causes crashes.

AMD Phenom II 965
Asus M4A785TD-V EVO
G Skill F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ
Corsair TX650
WD CB 1.5T

Ram does not seem stable. ASUS GVL says this Ram will work OC'd. Would really appreciate suggestions for a stable day to day set up.

Manual assumes I know too much.

One caveat about (3) stick sets; is that you can only use (2). Need to be installed in pairs a/k/a (2).

Keep the (2) in | A2 | B2 | A1 | B1 | - pull the A2/B2; Load Defaults --- what happens now?
