I've been running this computer for several years now. It's not the fastest but it works fine for my needs. I had a 7200 video card in the PCI-x slot and a couple months ago, it just up and quit on me. I thought the whole thing was just dead. I removed the video card and tried the integrated video and it is back up and running. I got another video card and tried it and the same thing happened... the machine would not boot.

Does anyone know how to fix this (simply)? Or, is something on the board fried? The few games I played are not quite as fast and the resolution is down.

Or, is it time for a new computer?

1. its probably time for a new PC if you want to play games

2) did you delete the old drivers and install new drivers for the new card?

2) Duh... I've been messing with these machines since about '85... and other home computers before that. I didn't even think to delete the old drivers. I deleted them, installed the new card and all is well again. Thanks a million.
