Would this be a practical upgrade?

I'm thinking about adding another 4GB of the same RAM and getting a SATAII 120GB SSD for my PC that's almost 2 years old. Would I see significant performance increases or should I wait til I can afford a complete new build?

Also if it makes sense to upgrade, can anyone can recommend a fast and reliable SSD on newegg? My budget is about $250. Thanks a bunch.

Any computer, regardless of age, would see significant performance increases if the OS was installed on a SSD. Applications installed on the SSD would also benefit, but it won't make games' FPS better or anything.

They are SATA 3 they are compatible with your controller and will run faster than the SATA 2 drive you selected.
