I like old Office too. :)

open Word 2003, click the Help and then Detect and Repair. That should do it.

If you only want to do that for a certain extension:
You could go to folder options and change file associacion:

Open any folder, go to Tools>Folder options>File types

And for each extension, change the program
Then you can do like this:

Scroll list down to, let's say...

*.doc
And click Open With
Now browse to the Office 2003 folder and choose Winword.

and you can do that to *ppt, pps for Power points, and so on.....

:hello:

I have both office 2003 and 2007 on my computer , how can I make office 2003 the default ?

As Me 1 says, Control Panel>Folder Options>File Types then set the relevant files to opened only by the 2003 version.

You have several changes to make - DOC, XLS, PPS, MDB and the same again with the X suffix that 2007 and 2010 both use. You will probably also need the File Format Converter from Microsoft's website to be able to read 2007 and 2010 created files in your older version which, in my opinion, is still the best yet.
