wireless card help

my friend has a dell inspiron 8600 notebook i need to know what would a good wireless network card be for under 50 $.
side note - will be connecting to a t1 line.

I had bad experiences with the proxim gold a/b/g. I found that the reassociation time is really bad. This only applies if you are moving around while connected to the AP, so if you plan to stay at approximately the same location while connected then there is no problem.

My suggestion would be a Cisco, but they usually are more expensive than 50$. Second choice a NetGear which should be in your price range.
