I found an old tube of Arctic Silver Ceramique 2.5g which was bought about 3.5 years ago and only used once on a processor. I squeezed it and still seems fresh.
My question is for my build of 1055t with msi 890gx and 212 hyper cooler should i just use this compound or would it be better if i order ic diamond 7, or actic silver 5.
Also what is difference between the ceramique and silver 5 of arctic

Well, if you are impatient or don't feel like spending an extra 7-12 dollars on a new tube of compound I would suggest using what you have, whats the worst that can happen? You find out that it doens't cool like you want it to and you just buy one of those you listed.
Don't fix what isn't broken (That's relevant here right?)haha.

The Ceramique is a different formula than the Artic Silver 5 it is also nonconductive. I used it for years to good effect and have some laying around along with several other brands but I have to say after seeing the newset TIM reviews that IC Diamond 7 will be what I use when I finally get around to upgrading. It seems to be quite a bit better than anything else.

There are some good comparison tests out there that I do not have bookmarked and do not have time to search for right now but if you google a bit you can find them.

Coolaboratory Liquid Pro also rates very highly ( maybe the best ) but I believe it is a pain to use correctly.
