Noise problem

Hello,
my computer is 7 yrs old. the last month every morning when i start the computer it makes a humming noise for the first three minutes.
tip: if i restart my computer right after shutting it down it does not make the noise ,only after being shut off for alonger period of time.
i'm concerned if this is not a sign that my hard drive is going and i am in danger of losing data

You have a cooling fan failing. You need to get it repaired right away before it causes damage.
