I5 3470 multi change to 34 ?

Hi folks

I have a i5 3470 just wondering if it was normal to be able to change the multi on a non k edition chip.I did'nt think it was at all possable but with a h77 board i was able to make a change from 32 to 34 so 3.4ghz on a i5 3470 not much of a boost but a boost is still is any one else had this happen?

I think multi can't be changed on non k cpu, only turbo boost +400 Mhz. Maybe you changed turbo multi to 34?

No it's a non es cpu.
