Today I am not in games . maybe I will be in 3D and simulation.
I like to open lots of app in same time.
Even if I do not sure what I will do , I have a very good feeling that I will have midrange strong computer (even if I will not use its power!) I am willing to pay for this feeling.
I am sure it will look very strange, but I do not have limit to my budget.
On the other side I do not want to buy the most top PC because I like the point of balance between money & performance.
this lead me to choose I7 860 and MB follow after it.
OS will be win7 .
yes I need also KB & Mouse-- wireless is not important but I want to prevent as much as possible the pain in my hands and fingers.

thank you

Hi Shaul,

Take a look at the Noctua NH-U12 SEP, great cooler, ultra quiet (comes with 2 low noise adaptors), super quality.
I know they are more expensive, but i have bought 2 of these to use with i7 860 systems and using the ultra low noise adaptors I
still get very low idle temps.

Is this the part name . NH-U12 SEP ?
I do not find it the word "SEP"

See my configuration (signature).
It is also a silent one if you replace my proc fan.
Zalman CNPS9700 is loud on high rpm but it is a silent one with the lowest speed.
Just replace that and it is quite.

BTW : I put my PC just beside me. Just beside my keyboard and mouse on the table.
The distance between my ear to my PC is less than 50cm. I can almost hear nothing.

Take a look at the Mugen 2 Rev. B. Its much larger than the 212+, because its mostly a passive cooler. The fan only spins at 1200 RPM max, and all 4 sides can mount fans. Just beware of its large size and make sure u get revision B. Its a dream cooler if you have the room.

it support LGA1156 socket?
It is indeed very good but it looks as if it does not support LGA1156 socket.

Have any link to reviews that measure and compare the noise level of Noctua NH-U12P SE2 ?
