not dell issue nor are providers aware updated soundmax,dell soundcard or asus stop!!!!!!!!!!! you dont need it your drivers are fine!I found out my soundmax and audio issues was only on Google the new Google
update was bad specially for 32 bit xps so i (SAVED) A older versoin UNDER DOCUMENTS DOWNLOADS AND removed NEW Google (compleatly)&DID REGISTRY CLEANING AND CCLEANER RESTATED THEN INSTALLED OLDER GOOGLE I SAVED IN DOWNLOADS RESTARTED NOW GOOD AS NEW!
GO TO GOOGLE OLDER APPS DOWNLOAD GOOGLE OLDER VERSION FOR YOUR 32 OR 64 BIT XP AND VISTA AND 2000the last good working google-010.0.648.151 fixed!
restart after saving older getting rid old and after new download total 3 x
