First and foremost thank you for taking the time to read my post. A friend of mine accidentally broke the metallic tip of off her head phones while it was plugged in. Now the metallic tip is stuck inside the audio out jack, can't be removed by hand or tweezers, and her laptop has no sound.
The repair stores requested $500-800 to open up and remove the piece but I was wondering if there is a way around that.
Could a guy who has home built one or two desktops open a laptop and take it apart himself?
Otherwise, are there any other solutions?
