The EVGA has a few more features (most of which will never be useful to you) like support for higher frequency RAM, four pci-e x16 slots.
I prefer Asus as a brand and the board is feature rich. It will support anything you throw at it. So unless you want to use more than two GFX cards in three or four way SLI, go with the Asus. You'll get a great board and save some cash in the meantime.
