System won't boot

So i have a homebuilt computer that was built around a year ago, and has been running perfect for just over a year. Around a week ago i came to my computer and it has no beeps, and nothing on the screen. The network card i have does light up, and all of my fans spin, hard drive spins and CD drives work.

I have had my PSU tested, and have tried booting up with only required minimum components. I have also taken everything out of the case and started again, as well as reseating the CPU.

If i take out all of the RAM, i have no beeps. I have asked numerous people and they believe it could be the motherboard or CPU, but before i buy anything, is there something i could try to know what is the definite problem.

Thanks in advance,
Kieran
