Uninstall itunes

My I tunes will not work so I am trying to uninstall it and re-install it.

When I go to the Uninstall feature on the Control panel - it thinks for a minute then an error message appears.

"The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation."

The second box says: "You do not have sufficient access to uninstall Itunes."

Can you help?

I have tried turning off my Norton - did not work
I tried changing the user account controls

Neither worked.

Have you tried right clicking itunes, run as admin and uninstall option ?

This may also work:

1 - Open Command Prompt in administrator mode (Start --> Accesseries --> Right Click on command prompt select Run as administrator

2 - Run the msi file from command prompt (rs.msi)

this should allow you to install/uninstall
