I'm trying to stay below $700. 500GB 7200RPM, 4GB memory, but I don't know which laptop, like there are soo many freaking processors I don't know which is good or bad or anything! Its soo confusing!Oh looking at HP'S.

I was looking at this processor:
•Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.2GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)

These specs:
4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
500GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD with 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader and HDMI

I don't think its the greatest graphic card, but the best they had on the model I was looking at, most expensive lol.

Mainly I just want to know if this is okay, I'm wary of the graphic card. I don't know about the processor.

I HATE toshiba and dell. Its not happening.:)  :)  No offense to anyone who owns it!

Well the processor's not too bad, but what do you plan to use the computer for? I'm afraid Intel's GMA 4500MHD won't be able to play any modern titles, possibly on the lowest settings at very low resolutions. Otherwise if this is for general purpose it's a pretty decent laptop in terms of specifications.

For just $550 you could get the HP G62t Core i3 330M and Intel HD Graphics. A pretty good bump up from the T6600 and GMA 4500HD.
Intel HD Graphics is roughly equivelent to the Geforce 9400M or Radeon HD 4200. Here is the GMA 4500HD for comparison.
For $650 you could add in that Radeon Mobility HD 5430 Graphics chip. Mobility HD 5430
