windows media player suddenly won't produce volume. everything else seems
normal. stated that an improper shutdown meant that not all plug-ins could
be restarted.

what should i do"

Go to windows media home page,or in the player locate,"new player available",
download and reinstall WMP 10 series.The new download will uninstall old
first,then do a new installation.

ok reinstall solves the problem, but then whey i try to rip the same cd
again, wmp crashes again
