Okay so I just overclocked my 6100 @ 4.6 ghz on air (hyper 212) and ran prime95 for good few hours until I passed with no errors. I tried all three of them and made sure I di atleast one hour of each.
Here's my question though:
When I had core turbo off my temps for my mosfets were going all over the place-even went as high as 72C and they were jumping randomly even on idle-going from 33 to 48 then randomly to 72 and so on. My cpu temp was still acceptable (40C) at idle and 63C on load. But when I had my turbo off, my mosfets temps were (33C)idle and did not jump higher then 60C max, while my cpu went from (33C) idle to (58C) max.
So do I need to have turbo off now that I am done overclocking? I don't really feel like I need to have my system running at 4.6 ghz even at idle and I don't want my temps of my mosfets jumping all over the place.
I used HW monitor but now I am using open hardware monitor since I wasn't understanding the whole tmpin0, tmpino2, tmpino3. Basically I went to bios and checked my temps there then compared it to HW monitor then to open hardware monitor and in both of those the second temperature is my cpu, first is my system, and the last one is my mosfet (not really sure about this one actually tbh)

gigabyte 990fxa-ud5 bios f11
amd fx 6100 OC @ 4.6 with 1.47vcore (although at idle it runs 1.4 ghz)
Hyper 212 with two fans push/pull
8 gb ram gskill ripjaw OC @ 1866 (went to bios to set it manually running at 1.55V)
corsair 750W psu
Sapphire HD 7870 ghz edition at 1100 Ghz
Overclocking done by making sure all the energy savings features were off
LLC set to extreme since v droops are ridiculous on gigabyte ud5 boards apparently
