Hi,

I wasn't here for a long time but I know that I will get good answer on this forum. Currently I have this gaming rig:

CPU: Intel Q6600@3.6
Cooler: Zalman 9900 LED
MB: Asus P5Q-E
RAM: G.Skill 2x2Gb DDR2-800mhz
GPU: Gainward GTX 295
HDD: 2x WD 500Gb AAKS
PSU: Corsair 750 TX
Case: CM HAF 932
Monitor: Samsung T260 -1920x1200

I use it solely for gaming. I was thinking to change CPU (RAM and mobo too of course) for core i7. I think that old daddy Q6600 even oced at 3.6GHz (24/7 - stable) is not giving enough power to squeeze out GTX 295 and stepping up to core i7 setup would be good progress bearing on the mind that some new titles are CPU demanding.

What do u think? Does it give sense to upgrade to core i7? Will I see higher framerates in games to be worthy some 550 EUR (core i7 920, quality 3x2 GB DDR3 1600Mhz - CL7 and Asus P6T Deluxe V2, I live in Belgium, buying parts from Germany).

I will keep my GTX 295 because it is still good and powerful GPU ( flagship of Nvidia till end of March :) ) and I think that I can live with it comfortably for this year.

Thanx for reading and your opinions.
