how to do low level formatting... ? basically if i do not have any external drives .


i have been trying to do low level format but i was not working according to my need .. i need to format my hardisk completely .... pure format ... but how to start ?

Right click the drive in my computer and select format!

The Windows install disk has the option to do a full format at the beginning of the setup. There is no reason you should need to be trying to do a low-level format.

only the thing is i want to completely erase the data from hdd.
the only reason is it will completely remove viruses in bad sector of hdd..
So i need help , how to do low level formatting... from basics
