Graphics problem

Hello,

I am running vista on my laptop but have not been able to get it to run through my vga port to a new Samsung T260HD monitor. The laptop works on other monitors and other laptops not running vista work om my monitor. I have downloadeded the analog drivers from Samsung correctly. I exchanged monitors but the same problem. Samsung has not been able to help me. I have read about vista problems with this monitor but have not found an answer to my problem. Any ideas? Thanks

Do u have a gfx card in your laptop? Wats the specs of the lap?

Thanks for your response. I have a Gateway MT3421 laptop with 1 gb of memory. AMD Turion 64 running at 2.20 GHz. 32 bit OS.

It does not have any special graphics card. As I said it does fine on other monitors.
