My friend is currently building his first computer and he wants the AMD Vapor-X 6GB VRAM Card. If he does plan to buy this card, will he have to upgrade in 5 years? or will the GPU computing power bottleneck the VRAM for later titles and higher resolutions. He plans to do eyefinity
GPU computing will definitely be the bottleneck.
Only if 4K takes off, then the 6GB *might* be worth it.
1GB is enough for 1080P, so 4GB should be good for 4K.
Even at 3x 1080P, 3GB should be just enough.
