What do you guys think this system is worth?

here are the specs. Will be a complete system including a 23" LG monitor.

Thermaltake v9 Black edition case
ultra LSP 750 watt power supply
ASUS M3N78-VM Motherboard
Phenom II x 4 965 Black Edition 3.4 Ghz quad core
6GB pc2-5300 DDR2 (Super Talent)
BFG Geforce GTX 260 core 216 graphics
1TB Western digital Caviar Black HDD 7200RPM
Liteon 24X DVD burner
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
23" LG Flatron monitor model w2361v
microsoft sidewinder x5 laser mouse
microsoft comfort curve keyboard

all boxes, papers, manuals, cables etc. come with the computer.

about 4 months old

Rule of thumb take about 15% off what it cost to build it on the 1st day .... then then 10% a month after that.....after 3 months take of 5 % a month

Day 1 - 15%
Day 61 - 10%
Day 91 - 10%
Day 121 - 5%
Day 151 - 5 %
Day 181 - 5%

That's what I figured too. I've got it priced at $800.00 OBO and haven't even had an offer. Was curious as to why. Maybe Toledo doesn't have the gaming community I thought. original parts price was around $1400.00

how does that help him at all?

Hes talking about selling it, i was going to ask a similar question on my build. The reason i want to sell mine was because i want to builder a newer one. he probably needs the money. or is doing the same, building a complete new one.

Actually, it's not because I want to build a new system. I don't really game anymore and I switched to Mac.

Your local market plays a big part in it too. In my city, that machine would go for ~800 all day.
