ATI radeon 8500 VS ATI radeon HD4200

hi guys,

I hv HP pavilion PC623y, I want to play video game somebody told me that I hv to upgrade the PSU (power supplie unit) from 300W to 600W and the video card ATI radeon 4200 to any series of pny or sapphire.....,
I HV no question to upgrade the video card, butI wonder why I hv to change the PSU.

the game require ATI 8500 or above, , I checked the spec, seem HD4200 is more upate one, what's the different if I don't upgrade the vider card & power upplier unit , what will hapen?

I'd recommend you upgrade the video card to an HD5670. You won't need a new power-supply, and it's one of the best cards of its kind.

The HD4200 plays a bit better than the x700, both being inferior to the 8500GT.
