I am replacing my Toshiba 1805-S274 hard drive, and was wondering what
company would be best to buy from, and what options to look for on
the hard drive. I'm looking at replacing it with the same one, a
Hitachi 20gb, but I'm not sure.

Well, for one thing, I'd go larger, 30 or 40 gig, unless you know that
there will be a problem (very unlikely, even quite old toshiba models
were very good about taking large drives).
