Hi,
I am still running an intel stock cooler on my i7 3770k (I know, I'm a newbie). I am looking to overclock my cpu, but the temperature is too high with a stock cooler (After overclocking it jumps in the high 80's low 90's range). Would I be able to overclock to somewhere in the range of 4.4-4.6 GHZ with a corsair H70 cpu cooler?

Thanks,
Avery

From what ive learned a better cooler wont make your cpu clock higher, it will give you better temps to allow you to overclock more.
Ive got a h70 too but ive got an fx-8350 @ 4.8ghz. Temps as low as 17degrees idle 40-50degrees load
