APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Hopefully within 30 days. so I will figure out the best deals etc when the time comes.

BUDGET RANGE: 1000-1500 on the computer itself. I still need to buy mouse, keyboard, monitor etc.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, movies, everyday use.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: I need everything :/

OVERCLOCKING: probably not

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: I want the option in the future, but not now.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: not sure. need advice on the monitor first.

^ Some changes...

Monitor - Definitely 1080p

CPU + Mobo
X4 955 + 890GX - Newer chipset and the 955 is not much slower than the 965 but is much cheaper though...

PSU - Definitely a better one...The one that you have selected is not an efficient one...get this...
Corsair 750TX

HDD - Samsung F3 1TB - Faster and more efficient...

CASE - IMO this is also very good choice...Nearly $100 less but offers better airflow and is spacious enough for 2 HD 5870s too...
HAF 922

And also you might want to keep open the option of adding the HD 5870...IT might come down in price as Nvidia will be launching their cards by this month end...
