Hello, i downloaded a game(league of legends)and when i tried to play it said that i need a graphics card that supports shader 2.0. i would like to find a decent pci upgrade at a reasonable price but i don't know what cards are the best, or which ones will support shader 2.0. if anyone can help, please let me know. thanks!

Are you sure you want a PCI and not a PCIE card? The latest and greatest PCI cards appear to be the 9400GT, 9500GT and HD 4350. Both Nvidia cards should have at least a shader model 4.0 and the ATI 4.1. If you want a cheaper card the 8400 GS supports 4.0 and is ~$50 on newegg.

The 5500 fx supports 2.0 form what i can find. I'm sure there are pci to pcie adapter slots but its looking like they will cost you around $30 and you will also need that fx 5500 to be low profile in order for it to fit in the case as well as you having to mess around in the BIOS to get everything to work properly. Not the way to go, best thing is to return the 5500 and get a PCI card for best hassle free compatibility.
