ok guys im back my power supply is a corsair vx450w
i have 2 500gb hard drives 3 fans and 2 dvd drives running on it will the ati hd 5570 be able to run easily on it as well or will i need to upgrade my psu

The HD5570 is extremely low power and you could probably easily run them in 4x crossfire with that PSU. If that's a typo and you meant an HD5770(hopefully so, much better card) it should also be just fine on that PSU.
Tell us more about your budget and resolution and perhaps we can recommend the best choice for you.

Your PSU is more than enough for HD5570.

sorry i meant a hd5770 will the outcome still be the same i run on res 1680x1050 i have about 200 to spend

Yeah, for that resolution the HD5770 is a nice choice and the PSU can handle it easily.

5770 is a sound choice up to 1650 x 1050.
