Choosing a GPU

hey guys i'm gonna purchase a GPU by the end of March but I haven't a clue which one to go for anymore...
so i would realllly appreciate it if you could give me some suggestions.

The main reason i want this is to play CnC 4 at good to very good graphics...my price point is around 140GBP... the rest of my pc is quite decent (quad core at 2.67 Ghz) just the GPU is becoming very old now (7900GT)...any help is greatly appreciated

Well, i am going to take a wild guess and say, you have a motherboard that likes nvidia gpus right? and what is GBP? i would go with a gtx 260, if 140GBP is around $140 US.

140GBP = $210 US but will still get you a GTX260 here in the UK if you can find one in stock.
