can i replace my Dell Dimension 4550 mobo with this one

It will support that chip I believe, but I don't think it will fit in your case, unless your crafty, that is. From what I read, that's an ATX board, and the Dell Dimension 4550 take a mATX board.

If the board is Micro-ATX you should be able to use it. Of course, you just have to try it yourself to see if it fits.
