I took my old computer to the store after it broke up and my GeForce 6200 card was replaced by a GeForce 7100.
The 6200 was 128MB and I haven't picked up the computer so I don't know how much the 7100 have.
Which one is better?

Edit: Both cards are AGP

I guess this is another way of asking whether there's more than one way to say "sucks ass."

The 7100 is slightly better, but only slightly. Looks like it comes with either 256 or 512MB of DDR2 instead of 128MB of DDR, but speedwise is about the same as the 6200 and they both use a craptastic 64-bit interface. I hope they didn't charge you more than like $25 for it, because that's all that POS is worth.

My guess is that they charged you more like $60 or $70 for it, which is a complete rip-off, considering that you can get a modern AGP card like the HD 3650 for less than that brand new. If they charged you that much, I would take it back and demand they put in a card that doesn't suck a big fat one.
