Hi

Can anyone help...?

I am expecting a T23 shortly that has only the DVD drive. I can
however source either a T20 combo DVD/CDRW drive FRU 22P6991 or a
T30 combo - FRU 22P6980... cheaply

However looking at all the August 04 PSREF file from IBM, it shows
that the T23 I am getting had a combo option with the FRU 08K9572

So will either of the others work/fit??

So confusing!

Any Ultrabay 2000 device will work in the T23, so the T30 device will work
just fine.
