Keys on laptop don't work

Got an old Toshiba laptop satellite 1805-S274 from 2002..For some reason kepboard stop working..I have plugged into usb another keyboard and no luck..I can however bring the on screen keyboard up and it works..Don't know if I somehow locked keys. Any advice would be apprecaited

What troubleshooting steps have you tried? First thing you should do is reboot. Does this happen in just windows or the bios also?

Happens in word and excel so far. I have tried numerous things including plugging in a keyboard into usp port and nothing...Still at a loss.
