Hello,

I want to use my 32" LCD TV as the monitor of my desktop PC. But it can only set to 800:600 or 1024:768 resolution. I don't know why. How can I get a 16:9 resolution?

It depends on the TV and the connection you are using.

Many TVs are limited in resolution when using HDMI but can support a higher resolution if connected through d-sub.

It would help if you list all components in the system.

Uh my TV's max res for the blue VGA port is 1024x768, you have to connect it either with the card' TV out with component wires or use the HDMI plug.
