8800gts compatible case from newegg around $60

Hello, I am looking to get a new case for my computer. right now i have a raidmax scorpio http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156137

I am looking for a new case that can hold 6hds and support my 8800gts without crushing anything.

Right now in my case there is no space with the power cable right up against a hd.

The price range i am looking for is around $60 can be more to include shipping but not much more.


Please help.

I was really lloking at this cases http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811166004 but i dont know if it will be any better for videocard space than the one i have already.

Right now the Antec 900 is on sale for 80 with a $20 MIR so if you are willing to use MIRs in your budget its a hell of a deal.

Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case will cost about $70 with shipping but is a very good case and worth the price. Think you would be very satisfied with the case and it's cooling capabilities.

I was looking at the antec 900 case since it was on sale however some people had said on the internet that the 8800 series only just fits. Thats like my case now. it just fits pushed up against the hd.

Have you thought of just buying bigger harddrives so you dont' need to run 6 of them? You could move the smaller ones you removed to USB and use them for back ups.

Only reason I don't is im poor. $60 for a case right now is a lot of money, took me over 6 months to save up.

Thats a bit of what I meant. $60 can get you a new 500GB drive from newegg. If you have some 160 or 250GB drives as part of those six, you can copy them over to the new drive. Then your only running 5. (or less if you have a lot of older 80/120GB drives.) This means less power use, less heat, etc.
