Reusing ram

Hello,
the mother board in my computer crapped out so Iput the Hard drive in an old computer & windows xp can I put the ram cards in it also they appear the same

Yes.. As long as they are the same type, DDR to DDR, DDR2 to DDR2 & DDR3 to DDR3 & supported by the motherboard. It would be very helpful if they are like-like memory (MHz, Voltage & Timings) to limit possible BSOD.
