Replacing stock Phenom II 965 cooler

I want to replace cooler, to cool down temperatures maybe couple degrees, and so it would be quiet (can't sleep with stock cooler). on Prime95 on intense testing, cpu reaches 60, i'd like it to be 55or less.

I was looking into this one <-- tis one got interesting fan location, if it was directly above processor, then the air flow (like with the stock) would go outside, from the case, when its 90degrees, where its gonna go? in the case and the cheap case fan supposed to push everything out?

  1. Yes, the cooler will push out air unlike the stock cooler (by 90 deg). But usually the exhaust fan at the back of the case is located such that it will push the cpu cooler air out of the case. So no worries there.
