Whats the max over clock AMD FX-8120?

Does any one know whats the max over clock for the AMD FX-8120 with water cooling. Also what do you guys recommend for overclocking this CPU should i overclock with bios or with AMD overdrive?

depends on the motherboard, I had a gigabyte and could only get 4.4 out of this chip, swapped for the Asus, and the same chip is running solid at 4.7 ghz.

Manual bios overclocking is hands down the way to go. I take it you're using a closed loop cooler?
