Hi there,
I'm looking to build a medium-budget gaming computer but need some advice and/or approval for my build before buying. I've been reading a bunch of articles on this site so I hope the setup isnt completely trash.
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within 2 weeks BUDGET RANGE: 1000-1500
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, CD/DVD burner
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Norway
PARTS PREFERENCES: no preference
OVERCLOCKING: No CROSSFIRE: Yes
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050
This is the build i've been looking at so far:
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131599
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...0Socket%201156
Video Card: CrossFire 2x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-330-_-Product
Harddrive: 2x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148445
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-279-_-Product
and finally a 800W power supply.
My biggest concern is whether or not my motherboard will work with the other pieces. Also, do you guys think going for a CrossFire Video card build is the right way to go?
Any tips and/or feedback is greatly appreciated
