How to add USB3.0 front panel to my non-USB3.0 system?

I hope there is a simple solution to this.

My mobo does not have built-in USB 3.0 support. What I'm trying to do is to add a USB3.0 front panel multi-reader:

But there's no USB3.0 headers in my mobo.

I'm aware that I can get USB3.0 PCI adapters like this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816115104

But all that does is add USB3.0 ports to the back of my PC.


Any suggestions?

Do you have usb 3.0 on your motherboard? On the back panel? If so, you can buy this THIS Which would connect to the 2 Usb 3.0 ports on the back of your motherboard , though it only has usb 3.0.

I had the same situation where my case had USB 3.0 ports on the front i/o panel but it required usb 3.0 headers on the motherboard which I didnt have, so i bought THIS. So if you wanted a USB 3.0 front panel that had the headers that look like this:

then it would work fine.
