Power supply rating for GA-965p-s3

I have a GA-965p-S3 motherboard with 4gig(2x2) ddr2 rams installed. core2 duo processor, a 512ram radion 8series graphic card and a 3d gygabyte coolant installed, i had no problem till i decide to add another two sata Hard drives. it gives continous short beeps suggesting that the problem is with the power supply. I have a 450w power supply installed. any suggestion to what PSU rating can i use will be highly appreciated.

What is the make and model of your power supply? Which 8 series video card do you actually have? Doing any overclocking of the CPU or GPU?
Is your cooler being powered off the PC or off the wall socket? How much power does it use from the PC?
A 'good' 450W PSU should be plenty for your system (without the water cooler) even if your 8 series GPU is the 8800GTX (minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 28 Amps).

You left out details about your current power supply.

Using the 8600GT a good 450W PSU should be plenty for your system.
