How much will upping the voltage really effect it?

My 7970's voltage is currently at 1218... will this kill it quickly? Realistically I doubt I'll keep this card for more than 2 years, if that, so will upping the voltage to that amount, from 1175, have a drastic effect or not?

Also, should I have the Power control settings at 0 or 20?

I suggest not going over 1225, increasing voltage can sometimes increase stability after overclocking, it should last 2 years for sure, Power Control setting should be at 20.
