I'm not sure the true question of this post. If you are asking which to purchase, Corsair DDR3 2000 or Corsair DDR3 1600, I would go with the DDR3 2000 since they are both at Cas9.

To the other statement, Corsair is the better manufacturer than Kingston but I would feel comfortable going with them along with Mushkin or G.SKILL. I was a support of OCZ (currently running a 6GB set) but they have been having issues as of late, so I wouldn't recommend them at this point.

My favorites in order: {Quality/Speed/Problem Free}: Corsair, G.SKILL, Mushkin, and Kingston -- Crucial for 'value' RAM.

Corsair Tested RAM - http://www.corsair.com/configurator/product_results.asp...

The CMP12GX3M3A1600C9 is on the 'list' the CMT12GX3M3A2000C9 is not; therefore verify with Corsair http://www.corsair.com/helpdesk/default.aspx submit a ticket. They are EXTREMELY good and quick to reply.

Further, unless your plan is to extreme OC ~4GHz+ then and only then is the 2000 MHz GT beneficial.
