Bioshock pc graphics compatability problem xp

Hello,
I bought bioshock for pc and using a laptop with a centrino processer single layer. The game is installed, when I play it theres nothing but flames and black background and no water.

Your graphics card is probably a POS for gaming. You'll need to get a new laptop that is capable of gaming or get a desktop which would give you more performance for less money compared to a laptop.

What graphics card do you have?
Maybe the black background is water, I have played Bioshock, and the opening sequence water IS BLACK: SWIM! To the lighthouse!
Reinstall the game, drivers, etc.
