Hello,
I purchased the G. Skill PI 3X2GB ram from newegg.com
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

My ram timings are 7-8-7-24-88-2t according to cpu-z

The default from newegg says that it's suppose to run at 7-8-7-24-36-2t
Is there a reason why the tRFC is 88 and is there a way to change this to 36?

Is there a better timing that I can utilize? I'm guessing that the timing will be more loose when I overclock my i7-950 to 4 ghz?
Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure where you saw the tRFC is 36, unless a user referenced their timings?

As for adjusting, you can adjust the tRFC in your BIOS just like the rest of your timings.

In CPU-Z, under the "SPD", in the timing table under the XPM-1600, it gives the timing for it. I changed my DRAM settings for XMP under the bios and that is the timing I got. I was wondering what the tRFC is called in the bios. Thanks!

I think I meant tRC. :S Sorry for the confusion.

If I raise my DRAM voltage to 1.6v can I get a timing of 6-8-6-20?
