Hello, I have recently purchased a Lenovo s10-2 IdeaPad because I am going to be going to college next year. When I get on sites or programs like Skype, the Mic does not work. I have read up a lot on all the different sites and things of that nature but still no solution. Anyone have an idea on what could be going wrong with it? Yes, I already tried updating drivers, they are all the correct ones.

Mic volume levels are a common problem, I have the same issue with the mic from the onboard sound on my PC, there is no fix, software or otherwise so I purchased a USB headset from Logitech, works with Skype and my online games flawlessly. Shouldn't be required, but thats what I had to do.
