New Build for mom & dad (internet, office applications)

Hi everybody,

After recently completing my first build (for gaming), and seeing how much of an improvement it was over my old dinosaur, I decided I would like to build a pc for my parents. They only use their system for internet surfing and light applications such as Word. My mom uses it to view photos and that sort of thing and to play pogo arcade style games. My dad just sticks with surfing.

I would like to keep the budget at around 500$ and would like to run windows 7.

I will not be needing a monitor, keyboard or mouse. I will probably be able to get the Windows student deal through my sister (she hasn't used it yet I don't think).

Anyway, I am having trouble finding what I want, so am looking for some basic build suggestions.

If possible (it's not a requirement), I would like for the MOBO to support DDR3 RAM. This is because I would like to use the RAM from my PC in their system and order some with lower latencies for myself. Like I said, this isn't that big of a deal. If building on a DDR3 mobo is going to be much more expensive, I will just stick with a cheaper MOBO. I would think that integrated Video would be fine.

CPU: I prefer AMD really, but am open to Intel also.

The cheaper, the better, but absolutely not over 500$.

Thanks!

Here is a build for you...

CPU / MOBO Combo: AMD Athlon II X3 440 Rana 3.0GHz & MSI 785GM-E51 AM3 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX

Case / PSU Combo: Antec 300 Illusion & Antec Earthwatts Green EA-500D

HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500GB

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 Cas7

GPU: On-board video is plenty of power for their needs

Cost: $427.94

Add in cost for Windows 7 Home Premium x64, it goes up to $532.93 (cheaper if you get your sister's student discount :D  )

The antec 300 illusion isn't necessary if you're not overclocking, not to mention if it's a build for your parents lol. Extreme overkill for web surfing and arcade games (My p4 rig with an intel IGP does a great job). I'd go with a 400W corsair and whatever cheap case you find. You could save $50.
